Sony MDR-DS7500 with Denon Avr-x2200W

I have the Sony MDR-DS7500 connected via hdmi to AVR-X2200W but no sound to the Sony, had no problem with previous amp which was a Yamaha, could anyone please suggest how to remedy, would be very grateful for any suggestions.

of wanting to connect wireless headphones to a high spec a/v amp, if the Yamaha amp was working ok then imo what was the point of buying the Denon if your not going to use it to it's full potential, it's like buying an off road vehicle and staying on the tarmac.

Sorry to be so negative but my suggestion is to buy a nice set of speakers and a sub and get to hear what proper surround is like.

I understand what your saying, I do have a full set up, the headphones and amp are for late night listening and when i want to use them otherwise, but thanks for the reply, also wanted Dolby Atmos plus more hdmi connections
