Sony KDL EX503

Hello all,

A local retailer has the Sony KDL EX503 on offer - as we all know it's now discontinued - they have three left in store. It's on sale for £459. Straightforward question: Would I be bagging a bargain, or have things moved on so much since this model won an award back in 2010, that 450 quid would now get me something far more impressive? BBC HD looks just fine to me, but I've not looked at many new gen tvs.

Any prompt advice or opinons would be greatfully received - I'm seriously tempted to get one, this weekend.

Well the EX723 is only 20 quid more at Richer Sounds; two generations newer and better facilities...
