Sony KDL 40HX803 and THX Optimiser

Hi all

As the title really, although the TV comes with loads of pre-set picture modes, i am trying to calibrate

using the THX optimiser, however when played through the BDP S470 although the optimiser menu appears

i cannot make the necessary adjustments i.e brightness/colour/sharpness etc. When the options button is

selected the option "picture" is missing,

Am i being dim or do i settle for one of the pre-sets

You need to press the sync menu then TV controls, to find the TV options, or just temporarily disable the hdmi control as it sounds like your TV remote is bringing up the blu ray options, not the TV ones.
