Went into Currys today to look at the Samsung UE55KS7000.

the bloke immediately tried to sell me the SONY KD55XD8599BU. He said it was a superior tv in every way. Saying it had a better picture, better motion etc. Sounded pretty convincing.

Another chap in the store backed him up. They weren't keen on the Samsung.

With a friends discount I can get this for about £870

It did look very good on the demos the chap did.

I doubt there is very much difference between the two units. Pick the one you prefer.

I had a Samsung plasma for 8 years, now I have a Sony 4K, and I'm very happy with it (took 2 goes)
