Hi Guys,

I am looking to replace my sony sa30 with the Sony DAVIS10, but not quite sure if it could fill my room.

room size 7.5m x 4m. Also can it upscale to 1080p.

Thanks

Patrick

In answer to your upscaling question, no the Sony only upscales to 720p / 1080i.

Hi, Yes I ment the sound. Would my room be too big? Sizewise it is ideal form what I want, especially with kids.

They can go quite loud but it is not effortless - the sound can get harsh. also just because they are so small they cannot displace a lot of air. Therefore i would recommend something a lot larger that can bring refined power to your room. If you want to remain with a 5.1 configuration this will cause quite an increase in price, however a stereo system would bring less so. Alternatively something like the Pioneer DCS360 would be a better bet for the same money.
