About to purchase one of these to go with a Sony 46" lcd TV is the 550 worth the difference if neither would be conected to a AV reciever and picture quality is the only concern?

I've not seen the 350 in action. All I can say is the 550 is superb!

had my 550 a coulpe of weeks now and am well happy with it, bought it for £219, so would say its worth paying the extra over the 350

What Gerrard said but in reverse! Not seen the 550 in action, but I have no regrets in buying the 350. It can be had for £180 inc. delivery on Play.com now.

Has anyone seen a comparison of the 550 with the Pana DMP-BD35?

It seems that with all the reductions they've ended up being very similar prices!
