ok thanks, I thought it would be but thought I would ask. What price range or players you can recommend to fit my system ? I've been looking at the Sonys as most of my system is Sony, but would consinder a different make.

A Sony BDP-S760 if you need analogue outputs and Wi-Fi.
Alternatively, a Sony BDP-S370 would also do nicely while offering you some other functionalities.
I am assuming that 3D isn't an immediate priority for you.

I would go with the bdps370,it's a belter for the money.i have the bdps470 for 3d blu-ray films.But paired with your w4000 tv the bdps370 would be a perfect combo.

If you intend to upgrade to 3D, then by all means go for the S570 or the S770.
Otherwise, the S370 will more than suffice. With each passing day, I only get more and more impressed with all that this machine has to offer.
