Sony BDP-S370 & Onkyo TX-NR1007 HD Audio

Hi Guys

My Sony blu-ray has only two HD audio settings, PCM or Auto (i.e. no bitstream); however, when it's set to Auto the Onkyo always gets PCM, so I never get to to see DTS-HD or Dolby True HD light up on the panel (these things are important, you know...)

I've been through the Onkyo's set up to see if that needs tweaked but can't find anything that would let the Sony know that it can cope with bitstream HD audio.

They're connected by HDMI.

Any ideas?

hi go to audio settings on the 370 scroll to bd audio mix setting and turn off that should do it

I have the same problem. Am using Sony370 with Onkyo 905. My 370's audio settings are as follows

HDMI - Auto

BD Audio Mix - Off

Audio DRC - Auto

Still no hd audio light ups on my Onkyo when playing BDs with hd audio. Of course I selected hd audio too when playing the disc
