SONY 32D3000

hi everyone have had a sony 32d3000 for about 2 and a half years now but this week its started playing up when i watch tv it will make the clicking noise as if the tv has been turned off but the standby light will stay green and the screen goes blank after about five seconds the tv shows the channel again would appreciate it if anyone has any ideas about this or has experienced this problem thankyou

The 32D3000 is a great TV performance-wise, but I'm afraid to say we've found them to be more problematic than any of the other Sony models we've sold over the last couple of years.

I don't know where you purchased it from. If you got a 5 year warranty you should go back to the original retailer and ask them to get it looked at. If it is out of warranty give your local authorised repair centre a bell.

It might just be a firmware update that is needed so don't panic too much at this stage.
