I need to sort a set up for a room using my sonos. I am keen to sign up to Tidal but need help in knowing if i would get the good sound out of it if i bought for example the sonos 120, marantz 6500 amp and wharfedale 220 speakers to get the hifi quality they supply ? I use an imac if thats relevant. Any advice would be welcomed. Like Kung Fu Panda, when it comes to understanding what i can achieve, i am a level zero

The Sonos 120 (or Connect:Amp as it is now known) has a built-in amp so you just connect speakers to it. So you wouldn't need the Marantz amp. I run Tidal on a Connect:Amp with a pair of Acoustic Energy speakers and it sounds great.

But if you already have an amp you could just buy a Sonos Connect and save yourself a chunk of money.
