sonos S/PDIF splitter

I'm looking to change my system in the near future.

As a starter I'd like to know if I can or if you can buy a splitter for the coax output on the Sonos.

Basically I'd like to keep the coax cable I have running to the AV amp in the basement and add a 2nd which would run into a DAC and then possibly into actives on the main floor.

The two systems would run simultaneously so I'd be interested to know if it could be done or whether I have to totally rethink this... The optical out is feeding a pair of Mackie actives in the garage.

I don't know if you'd have issues with impedance if you try to split the co-ax (someone cleverer than me should know). Could you use an optical splitter on the other output instead? I've used an optical splitter/switch on mine without problem in the past.

Can you run both at the same time?
