Slight Judders on Panning Shots with my PS3 and TH50PZ70

I know this is an old one but could someone give me a really simple explanation why I see slight judders on panning shots. I am watching Blu Rays on a PS3 connected to a Panasonic TH50PZ70. I am aware (just aware only really) of terms such as 24 frames and is it 2:3 pulldown. Are one or both of these the cause? I did believe my TV did 24 frames ? Also what about 100hz - where does that fit in? I don't know off the top of my head if my TV is 100hz even. In summary is there anything I can do to fix it - for me it does slightly spoil the viewing experience - only a tiny bit. All answers gratefully received. Many thanks.

Youll probably find its the actual way the bluray has been encoded as opposed to an actual fault of the player or the tv.

ie ~ not a lot you can do

However, if your Pan has any 'digital effects' switched on, that could slow it down some
