sky remote not working

Hi all

recently got Sky HD installed but now i am having a problem with the remote

the "select' button has suddenly stopped working which means that i effectively cant control anything

i have changed the batteries but too no effect

anyone had any similar issues?

It's not uncommon for Sky remotes to faulty and buttons stop working.

Phone Sky and they'll post you a new one.

Hi,

Had a similar problem - turned out another button had got stuck down and in effect cancelled any other button press.

Brought the sticky button back out (was text one if I remember right) and all returned to normal.

Weird thing was, no light came on to show a button was being pressed even though it was stuck down.
