Sky HD. What have you done to the contrast setting!!!

Help!!!

My TV picture went crazy a few days back. I have tried to calibrate and have got nowhere, edges are noisy, movement is blurred, colours bleeding, excessive sharpening. Has sent me crazy.

Did notice that text on Sky HD EPG (Samsung Box) was not only sharper but also overblown.

When i checked 'Sky - Settings - Picture = the contrast option has been removed and it appears from the blown up image that Sky has set to 'High' before removing this.

'Thanks Sky you've made a right mess of my TV picture and i just cannot get it right thanks to you're artificial messing'

So now new TV or no Sky!

Please Sky put it back to 'normal' you've ruined my viewing experience. It really does look awful!

Have got this much better now. Very frustarted last night but looks good now. Still, seems strange to remove the normal setting.

Apparently there was some kind of bug when setting contrast to high so, rather than fix it they set the contrast to medium and took the option out.
