Sky HD Failed to record South Africa v Mexico

I was unable to watch The South Africa v Mexico game live so i decided to record it through Sky HD + function. When i got home i went to watch the recording to find it had not recorded. I have never had a problem with it not recording anything. The question i have is has any body else had the same problem today or in the past with this function.
