sky eye problems

Hi there,

I have just fitted a ME 100 remote link eye sensor to take sky down to my games room, I can change channel in the games room via the eye so the cabling is all working from sky box to games room but i can not tune my games tv to pick up sky

Please help me to sort

Have you got a terrestrial aerial connected through the Sky box also? if so it may be that the Sky box is outputing on the same frequency/similar frequency as one of the terrestrial channels causing co-channeling(interference).

If that's the case try changing the rf channel no. on the sky box(default is 68) to one near the other end of the spectrum,(between 21-68)

I have no aerial connected, i removed when fitted eye as i presume it is not needed,

An obvious question, but you are trying to tune Sky in on an analogue channel .....

Also have you tried temporarily connecting the rf2 out to the tv where the Sky box is located and tuning in on that tv, just to make sure it is outputing a signal.

As i am not completly clear on all tech stuff so i was trying all ways, i did change the RF as you said to 21 and i also refitted aerial, it works now thanks, dont quite know what i actually done but its sorted
