Briefly. Will the Cambridge Audio AXN10 streamer look silly with the A651 azur amp and C651 CD player? Everywhere, I read that it fits right in with the AX or CX amplifiers?
You're worried about looks?Briefly. Will the Cambridge Audio AXN10 streamer look silly with the A651 azur amp and C651 CD player? Everywhere, I read that it fits right in with the AX or CX amplifiers?
That sounds very much like my set up 🤣Why worry about what others think?
If you think it fits in, it fits in 👍
My components have been a mixture of black, silver, grey and champagne gold, in half-width and full-width sizes.
You probably think that's silly.
But I don't care what you think.
So there😛
Get them all in matching black and you'll be fine and the bonus? Some seriously good sounds coming out from these little boxesBriefly. Will the Cambridge Audio AXN10 streamer look silly with the A651 azur amp and C651 CD player? Everywhere, I read that it fits right in with the AX or CX amplifiers?
Nothing looks silly when it comes to functional Hi-Fi equipment. In my view none of your equipment needs to match, as far as looks is concerned. As long as your components are a good match from an audible point of view, that is what matters. None of my gear is matching from a visual perspective but to me, it makes it all look more interesting.Briefly. Just to clarify, you are asking how a silver/grey box will look with two other silver/grey boxes? 🤣Briefly. Will the Cambridge Audio AXN10 streamer look silly with the A651 azur amp and C651 CD player? Everywhere, I read that it fits right in with the AX or CX amplifiers?
You have a very forgiving other-half. I'd be lynched if I had such a setup (not that I'd set up speakers like that).Klipsch cooper subwoofer to match the speakers would have been aesthetically more preferable but they don't do 8" forward facing drivers.
Nice work, you must have hidden those SW's pretty good! You have a very forgiving other-half. I'd be lynched if I had such a setup (not that I'd set up speakers like that).
I replaced the really naff and annoying speakers in the bedroom a couple of years ago. I was told in no uncertain circumstances that the speakers HAD to be small and NOT black nor ugly and NO I could not use the Dentons, I already had stored away.
I picked up some tiny, refurbished Monitor Audio Radius 45s (walnut), which sound much better than they ought to and fine for the bedroom. I added a sub to give some bass which she still has no idea exists!
