Sky Box Office - 5.1

I've blindly made the assumption, that it will, but can anyone confirm whether or not Sky + (SD) outputs a 5.1 signal to the optical out socket, when viewing Box Office movies (or anything else realy) ?

Yes, where 5.1 is available on the original material

I couldn't think why else there would be an optical out, but you never know. It's good to have the confirmation.

Even with normal stereo stuff the optical output sounds better than the analogue connections.
