Sky+ After cancelling movies!!!

I recentley decided to cancel my movie subscription with Sky to save a little cash. Sat night rolls in & the mrs & me sit down to watch a movie I recorded on to sky+. It wouldn't let me watch the recording because i no longer subscribe to the movie channels. What a rip off, I recorded those movies while I was paying for the movie channels so I have every right to expect to be able to view them. Sky will be getting a phone call next week with a severe rollicking & I will be cancelling the lot & buying a Foxsat HD Box. Enough is enough with this rip off company.

I hear ya! I did exactly the same. A friend of mine also wrote in to complain but has not heard anything back. Let me know what they say as I've not heard back either. Sky+ is fantastic but I wish it were a) cheaper, and b) not so restrictive. Do you know if you strip the package back to the basic digtal services you can't even get sky sports news and other channels that you would on freeview!? I'm also moving away from sky as soon as I can decide what box to go for.
