Settings(widescreen) Sony 40W4500

When i watch most normal channels it comes up as wide screen but whaen i watch music channels it comes up as 14:9 or 16:9(something like that), is there a setting where you can change every setting to widescreen, so i dont have to keep changing the screen every time i change channel.

I haven't got the TV in front of me, but most sets - under picture settings - have an option to default to 'wide' or '16:9' for all content. Personally, i'd leave it at 'auto' or 'native' so you see the content in the format it was meant to be viewed in - otherwise everyone looks all fat and wide if you're stretching non-widescreen images to fill the display....

Hi,

I had the same problem, took me a moment to figure it out. Press "Home" on remote, goto Settings>Setup>Screen Settings and turn "auto format" setting to "off"
