I'd gladly use that one. Just make sure it is terminated with spades or banana plugs because 6mm bare wire will not fit in your standard speaker terminals (amp or speaker side).

Cool, but now we are getting into a whole load of unknowns for me as I have always had bare wire into terminals. Could I ask what grade of plugs do I need, where is a good place to get them,is there a recommended technique for applying plugs (for best sound), and will my local shop be a good place to do all this? Cheers

In the link you sent the retailer does cable termination per request. Scroll down the page.

Banana plugs are easy to live with and spades are better at contact and if you don't have much space behind the amp. Make sure you can fit spades on the speaker and amp terminals if you like that option. Banana plugs will most certanly work on any.

Thanks Vlad. I hadn't noticed that. It looks like I might have space for spades. I have 2.5cm between the centre of terminals on speakers, but only 2cm between centres of terminals on amp. Would this be enough space for spades?

The 5-way terminals on the amp should accept spades. I don't know about your speakers. Are they also 5-ways?

EDIT: I just checked photos, yes they can. For spades you need a flat surface.

Hey Vlad. Cheers for looking into this for me. On closer inspection it looks like my dyns are not compatible with spades. They have different connectors to those in the manual. I have taken a photo but can't figure out how to post here?

It looks like he holes in the posts are wide enough for 6mm though?

I have also now seen these http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Van-Damme-HiFi-Series-6mm-Speaker-Cable-1x-2-m-Length-4x-Spade/380935979523?_trksid=p2047675.c100005.m1851&_trkparms=aid%3D222007%26algo%3DSIC.MBE%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20140122125356%26meid%3Db6ffc878efba458a9fa5428492a4d0d1%26pid%3D100005%26rk%3D3%26rkt%3D4%26sd%3D151631085089

Similar but apparently for HiFi. Something about platting reducing skin effect. Seems spurious but HiFi pig preferred the HiFi variety of van damme.

You can do a combo cable, bananas on the speaker end and spades at the amp if you don't have enough space behind the amp. Or go all bananas. The shop wont care and will do whatever you ask them to.

Yeah the combo sounds good. I'll speak to the seller. What do you think on any difference between the black grade and HiFi grade cable? Think the HiFi grade will be the right choice?

Pro version has ugly isolation built to higher standards of durability. Take that away and you get a hi-fi cable. Up to you which one you fancy.

I'd buy the black one and dress it in magenta techflex, with teal heatshrinks.
