Scratches on my panassonic bezel

After having my tv handled a little during an indtall i thought i would rub off the finger marks on the shiny bezel with a glass cloth. It would seem this was a bad idea s i have ended up with some scratches on the bezel, one in particular bad one with a long stroke of the cloth down the side of the bezel!! The tiny scratches are ok but this one stands out like a sore thumb! Is there any way of polishing these out and also what is the safest way to clean the bezel without scratching it?

Mr stupid has just found the cleaning cloth provided with the tv. What a mistake to make!

A nice fine polish is tooth paste. give it a go.

Bad luck - I'm waiting for mine to collect a scratch!

If not toothpaste you might try perspex polish if you can find any or the very finest jewellers rouge. I'd test out whatever polish you try first on a bit of scrap shiny plastic to be on the safe side.

Thanks fellas. Has anyone ever tried getting hold of panasonic for recommendations on what to in in situations like this??
