The samsung le40a656 had good reviews but is the new series 6 samsung le40B651t worth paying extra for, ? when all i am interested in is a good freeview picture, as i wont be having sky? also i still dont know what to go for lcd or plasma? its driving me mad, my old sony crt tv has broken down, so i am getting desperate! If someone could give me some ideas on what tv has got a good freeview picture please! loopyloo

What is you budget?

Personally I have found that a good Plasma will give better results over a LCD with freeview offering a cleaner picture but naturally not all sets are equal.

i'm in exactly the same boat. Got a £1000 give or take.

Seen a good deal on a 656 from richer sounds within my budget, and 46 inch bigger than i was planning on

My viewing will be around 8 to 9 ft away will 46 be too big, and as the op said is there any really significant changes in image processing.?
