I am writing this on my parents behalf, they bought a samsung 2.1 home cinema system last year. There has always been a problem with the fact that there are no eq settings and the ammount of bass is crazy, so much so it is unusable whenever there is an explosion ar any sudden loud noise you are forever reaching for the remote to turn it down.
Strangely there isnt any setup menu as such, all there is a setting called 'v surround' which makes it sound echoey and doesnt help the problem with the ammount of bass. I have tried plugging the bass port on the rear with some rags and there was little difference. if anyone has any suggestions that would be great!
