Here's AV Forums settings, click on the picture video settings and they tell you what to do:

Nope. I was offered for the Samsung 4k player but I decided to wait or for a better player lately. I have had a half price for a Samsung soundbar for tv listening
Mate, Currys have 10 per cent off with TV10% code. Perhaps you can cancel your order and order again?

What I don't under stand is that you have gone from what was probably a very nice plasma to opting for an edge lit LED which suffers from haloing and is lit from the top and bottom so forget about watching anything which is in anamorphic (black bars top and bottom). It also can't display 1000 nits for any length of time as the LED's run hot and have to cool down. Check out the review of the KS7500 on HDTVTEST which highlights this issue. It also suffers from micro stutter which I personally can't stand and had to return my previous Samsung TV becuase of it. If I'd have been in your shoes, I'd have gone for the Panasonic DX902 which is full array local dimming and for the price difference would have given you a plasma beater rather than something which I think (having done it myself) will be a culture shock as you may hate the falseness of the picture.

Sorry to sound so negative but I've been down that road and I couldn't stomach the Samsung JS8000 that I got last year and had to return it.

It's not the KS7500 but KS8000 which is a different TV. Have you checked the reviews of the KS8000? Check AV forums and this site for the reviews.

Taken from HDTV Test : Samsung KS8000 represents upper mid-range in Samsung's "SUHD" line and boasts picture features such as HDR (high dynamic range) and close to full coverage of the DCI-P3 color space. The TV’s slim profile looks great and it will surely fit into most living rooms.

HDR is a major selling point for Samsung in 2016 but KS8000, like most other LCD TVs without true local dimming, has mediocre HDR picture quality. You get high peak brightness but at the expense of other things. The picture often looks washed out because with the brightness setting set to max (default). It is possible to turn down the brightness setting, which means that you get lower peak brightness but can still benefit from the expanded color space.

Besides HDR we saw the same convincing picture quality that we found on last year's Samsung TVs and the switch from backlit LED (compared to last year's JU7) to edge LED does not appear to have affected light homogeneity in any significant way. Unfortunately Samsung has yet to fix the issues with micro-stutter on its 2016 TVs.

By the way, the KS8000 also suffers from the 14 seconds issue with HDR and I hope your not planning on gaming on this TV as in HDR mode, it's a whopping 120ms lag time or catch up through bbc iplayer as none of the 2016 range are certified for iplayer.

There is no denying that full array local dimming offers much better performance and the DX902 would have been the much wiser choice, but it's your money and I just hope that you enjoy watching an over processed, over colourful and overly bright image. It's a million miles away from a plasma picture.
