Hi guys,

Specifcally looking at the LE32A55x and the TX-32LZD80. At the moment best price is £500 and £600 respectively. Which would be the better set for PS3 gaming, and which set handles 24p Blu-ray films best i.e. no judder. Would also be used for watching freeview but I allready believe this to be better on the Panasonic as for it's viewing angles. Any other comments on either sets would be appreciated!

Thanks, Mat.

Thanks that's what I was thinking. How is the motion handling on the Panasonic? And for about the same price I could get the Samsung 6 Series, would this be a better option?

That would be a closer call - plus the Touch of Colour styling comes into play with Samsung: seriously good-looking set. We're running a 32in Supertest with those models in at the moment, plus the Sony KDL-32W4000 (which should also be seen) and a host of others. Think the winner will come from those three, though - all are great sets, so i'd urge you to see them in action before you buy.

Do you really want a full HD 32" TV? You will have to sit awfully close to it to make out the extra detail.

Better to get a HD Ready set and save your money for the add ons??

Yeah I will be sitting fairly close, enough to see the difference anyway. Have been looking at the W4000 and it does look good, however it is out of my price range. When is this supertest likely to be finished?

Well I'm pretty sure it's down the the LZD80 now, as I was only considering the 6 Series at the price because I believed it had 100hz, which it does not. So does anyone have any experience with PS3 gaming on the LZD80, and also with watching football? Thanks!
