Samsung & 24FPS

I recently bought a Samsung LE46M87BD lcd set.

I received my May WHat Hi-fi today and have been dribbling over the blue-ray wonders reviewed.

A quick check of my TV manual didnt turn up any evidence of handling 24FPS so was wondering if anyone could confirm if it does (but just isnt stated in the manual) or doesnt, and if it doesnt can I upgrade it in any way e.g. via firmware??

Lastly, if it cant handle 24FPS and I cant upgrade it to do so what effect will this have on the performance of any blueray player I buy. DOnt tell me I need to buy a new TV already.....:-(

From what I have found out you get 24fps it you set the tv to just scan mode

I think I read somewhere that it had a software update a while ago for 24. Doesn't it say it when you press the display button, I think my F86 does.
