A query on Rotel A10Mk2 vs A11Mk2 If i consider only the amplifier part and dont need multi digital inputs. Is the amp specs same in A10Mk2 and A11Mk2 ? Can this amp drive 4Ohm mission qx2mk2 and ophidian minimos speakers. Thanks.

The A11Mk2 has 10wpc more, digital inputs and Bluetooth. It's interesting to see that it does away with the (useless) display of the A11 Tribute.

Either will be fine with your speakers, and provide solid and reliable amplification.

From Rotel website it appears that both are 50W/8R with 4R rating for A10Mk2 not mentioned

I do not know anything about the A11 mk2. I have had the A8 which was a bit too bright with some music. I have the A10 (no remote) and I can say it sounds a bit better than the A8. I wonder is the sound quality of the A11 is better than the A10mk2. I wonder if the A12 would sound even better? I think the A10 is close to the Audiolab 6000A. Either amp would be good. Rotel is well made.

Nice to know but this thread is a tad old and the OP hasn't been seen since 2023
