Can,t say i blame them. Rega in home market & 200 countries 5,000 Project & Technics dealers
Still enjoy my Xerxes 20+ after 10years but TM (Touraj Moghaddam ) genius designer had no hand in modern Roksan TTs

You would think with the increasing popularity of vinyl Roksan would have kept it's toes in the water. The attessa was sold first for just over a grand. And I for one love the styling and electronic speed change. It was marketed alongside the amp and cd transport as an integrated system. But now TT dropped and what are their latest offerings: streaming amps.

Rega has never stopped producing turntables, even during the period when cd was being claimed as the greatest thing since sliced bread.They even made a point of waiting before committing themselves to cd production. Now they just sell a cd/dac for 2k and amps with digital inputs.
The source now for many people are not physical formats but digital files and subscription services. One look at Naim products will highlight this.

Yes, expensive, even at entry level but some brilliantly conceived decks and they never come cheap.
Not just decks but arms, cartridges, preamps, cables etc, etc.

£380. Bargain, it’s clear and punchy. Took 15 mins max to set up.
Arm is daft and flimsy but you can sense why it’s designed as such..
Tracks fine.
Well chuffed at the money !

Roksan DANA cart. A rebadged AT500 series
The counterweight inboard nice on threads
The axial adjust not great but it’s fine.
AntiSkate simple and effective a la Pro-Ject.

Nice tracking force balance weight, multipoint spirit level and what appear visually very high quality RCA phono leads included…
