RESOLUTION SETTINGS ON SKY HD BOX

hi i have my hd box set on 1080i what i would like to know is this the best setting or would it be better having the sky box set on auto and would the picture quality be any better on this setting

Depends entirely on the quality of the upscaler in your TV. Given it only requires about three button presses why don't you try both and see which you prefer?
