Replacements for Focal 714s

My wife is badgering me to change my Focal 714s

I love their sound but might be looking for a quiet life and maybe a chance to upgrade, any ideas?

If i can get a decent amount for my focals, what would be a good upgrade in the £400 to £500 price range.

I like good detail in my music and have Nad amplification

Lol..... Put the grills on, speakers always look better with grills on.

You could also try dropping the 'but you'll hate ugly industrial looking stands...' argument with pictures if it gets tuff.
