hi, AT LAST MY REPLACEMENT SAMSUNG TV AS ARRIVED THIS MORNING! After reporting fault on the 16th july engineers taking it away on the 22nd its here!

its not connected up yet so keeping fingers crossed i will be able watch it tonight instead of catch ups on pc.Although i still think gremlins are still in residence, as a little note on top of your home page said ( if you want to post in the forums you need to log in) and my name has gone which was at the top! but i am still using it as normal! i think someone is trying to tell me something!!!

Good to hear its finally arrived - hope all works well.

On the log in thing, I think this happens from time to time. As usual, I think clearing the internet browser's cache fixes the issue.

thanks, i am not loosing my marbles then?When i spoke to dixons last, i asked if the warranty started from my replacement not the one with the fault, they said it did. but i only have a reciept for the faulty one and just a delivery one when it came. Do you think that will do?

HI,connected tv all seems to be well at the moment!! Settled down to watch film and fell asleep! i am mad cause it looked aswell. just wanted to ask there are 2 scart sockets on tv, ( 1RGB) (2 AV) does it matter which cable goes to which? iv 1 cable from vhs recorder i cable from amp the cable from amp has 3 leads connected to amp i dont know what that is called? ps i think i am not fully awake yet! iv missed a word out at top should have been good! hope you understand what i am trying to say.
