Hey folks. Hoping to find some info here as it's very difficult to find any information on replacement subs. So here's the deal- I have a home theater that I often use for music. There are two 18's, each in their own box, in the front of the room...and two twelves behind the couch. The two twelves are old, self powered, circuit city, Velodyne CT Series, extremely heavy boxes. The woofers are tired and have no punch. Definitely were for home theater use and not music. Anyhow, I'm looking to replace the woofers with something much more punchy for music. I'd like to feel the bass drum. Does anyone have any suggestions as to a hard hitting 12" "replacement" woofer?
