ramzijw: I tried to explain that this was in my rights and said the EU law that Bigboss mentioned, was not valid as we hadnt signed up to this law? and it is fit for purpose and it was a tv that work when i bought it. Some one please help me!!!!

Absolute non sense. It's a crime for the manager to say that. Check the links I sent you.

heya guys! just to update you that they are investigating my problem now, hopefully i get a good outcome in the next day or two from all of this. Cheers for the info bigblue!

hi guys! just to update you all, i have recieved an email saying I am able to have a replacement unit :) So a big thank you to all the people who posted some great info here and comet sorting out my problem. Just a tip to those guys who have a similar problem, just to stick it out! I took me a little while but its worth it! :D
