Recalled Pace Box

For Daveh 75. To clarify I did contact the online supplier of the PACE box.

The situation at the time was that only a very small number of the first batch

of boxes produced, I believe 90,000 or so,were affected, what was'nt known

is which specific models. As the supplier rightly stated it was Sky who decided

to recall all Pace boxes, the box i had was working fine but i had a choice to

make, leave well alone to see if any fault develops or contact Sky to see if

they would include the box in their recall, which they agreed to do.

In hindsight i should have kept the Pace a superior box to the Thomson in my view.

The Sky engineer who replaced by box on Saturday said the real reason why Sky were replacing old Pace boxes was that they allowed customers to purchase movies without their accounts being charged. Another reason to hang on to your old Pace
