It says customer returns or exchanges or repaired. Comes with 12 month warranty. Free to return if you don’t like. I bought a couple of CA UHD 4K players that were refurbished from RS and they worked great.

Yes, these descriptions seem to be catch alls, but I guess they’re either early breakdowns which are swapped for new, or returns under distance selling.

l have bought ex-dem items that look scarcely unboxed, let alone used.

You can tell RS within 14 days you’ re returning and then have another 14 days to return must be brand new condition though but can be used.

Post COVID there were loads like that, as the hi-fi shops had been shut down for a year. Shops were selling off 12 month old stock that hadn't been out of the box.
