I have just finished setting up me home cinema and I have my rear surround (5.1 set-up) KEF's mounted on stands, the problems am having are:
1) The sofa is right against the rear wall so the speakers are to the side pointng in
2) My girlfriend has decided she would prefer them wall mounted so we can put small side tables both side and with the space being tight either side we cant have both.
The fortunate thing I think, is that due to the lack of space I can either mount on the back wall behind us but they would be right above as the sofa i against the back wall or I can mount on the side wall and then point them in towards the seating position.
My questions are:
1) Is either way a better option, as I gather the speakers should actually be behind the listening position
2) How high up the wall do I mount them
Thanks in advance
Damian
