Quad Centre

Hi everyone, I have the quad 12L front and now looking to get the centre, I have asked 2 diff shops the same question, would it be ok to use the quad lite centre instead of its big brother, seven oaks says yes and another shop says no, what would you all advise, £150 for lite and £350 for big bro.

Well, I'd go for the biggie if you want a consistent tonality across the front three channels. And believe me, you really do want that.

I only paid about £200 quid for my quad l center, i would imagine that it would be a better than the light! or you could try buying a single 12l might look strange but ive try's one of my 12L's in the center and it sounded better, a fuller sound!

i got it from superfi but they dont do it anymore ive just had a look

i got mine just after the quad center L2 was released so mine was a discontinued product. ebays worth a look

Ah, so thats the older centre then, I have the Quad 12Lv2 so its a newer version I need.
