qed hdmi performance, live

im getting the reference cable for my main set up but i need a cheaper one for the dvd recorder.

i know the performance is an improvement over the hdmi p but the

qed performance, qed xbox 360 live. qed ps3 live, they are all the same price with the same specs all retailing for about £40

are they the same cable and is it just a marketing ploy.

or is there a difference in the cables

I'm pretty sure these are marketing ploys - probably meant to make the customer feel happy it will definitely work with their console as opposed to anything more sinister, but I can't imagine one cable is tailored to a PS3 and the other an Xbox 360...

PS3 has a PS3 own box saying PS3 HDMI cable, compatible with the PS3..... LOL

But funny enough a 50.00 HDMI cable wont work with my PS3 so paid another 20.00 for this PS3 cable and everything was fine.
