Having trouble with fitment of these plugs to these speakers, am I being completely stupid or are these incompatible?

I think they should be fine. I don't know the speakers intimately but many sockets come with plastic plugs to "blank" them. You will need to remove these before the banana plugs can be used. Finger nails are usually sufficient.

If speakers are new they're likely to have these plugs fitted. The Airloc plugs are 4mm standard so will fit. Some speakers require you to unscrew the sockets on the speakers slightly, insert banana plugs, then re-tighten.
