Q Acoustics 3050i 5.1 - good upgrade from Quad Lite 5.1?

Hi all, welcome back to the forums!
I have the Quad Lite 5.1 speaker package from 10 years ago. I have recently replaced the Subwoofer with an SVS SB3000 - what a sub! It got me thinking whether a speaker upgrade would also be a worthwhile investment. The Q Acoustics 3050i 5.1 caught my attention, but with the exception of the floor standers, the centre and surround speakers have similar sized cones (4 inches) to my Quads. I'm just wondering if anything else they have done with speakers in the last decade would see an improvement in sound for me or if I should hold on to what I have. The Quad Lite system was around £1000 when new (I got them for £545 as they were end of line). Any thoughts peeps? Many thanks.

As far as the speakers, it doesn't seem like much has been done to 3050i over that span. If possible, I'd see if you can test them out in store or something, just to see if you can detect a difference in quality of any kind.
