PZ81 Viera Link Problems

Connected pz81 to panny home cinema with QED HDMI-P

Checked all settings and all instructions in both manuals and still no luck

Anyone else had the same problem????

Is your Panasonic home cinema kit running Viera Version 3 (or something like that?)

Can you be a little more specific or do you just mean that the devices can't see each other on Viera link.

The link can be a bit temperamental sometimes. I know it sounds daft but I assume you powered both devices down before connecting up? (i.e. did not connect with either device in standby mode.)

I had a similar problem when I first connected my TX32 LZD 80 to my DMR EX77EB-K. (TV to DVD in plain english).

Yes. Your TV will most likely support Viera Link HDAVI Control 3, but your other kit may not. Like a chain, the link is only as good as its' weakest point, so you need to check whether your other kit is Control 1, 2 or 3, if it is, then tthe problem is somewhere else. Additionally, do note that you need to run BOTH an HDMI cable AND a Scart cable between the two units to ensure interoperability.
