ps3 incompatible with blu ray 3d discs?

hi i have a fat ps3 i have updated the firmware to the latest version so it will play 3d blu rays i put in a copy of resident evil afterlife 3d it wont play the disc it says warning does not recognise console/or my samsung 3d tv i also tryed a copy of pirates of the carribean 3d it says the same thing and wont load the film does anybody know why and is there a way around this thanks could you reply asap please

Have you had the PS3 redetect the TV, as that was something that i had to do to get mine to work on my parents 3D tv having gone from a standard HD tv.

Im starting to grow more suspicious of your cable, having read the previous postst. What is being mentioned above about the reset is running the display properties settings. Give it a try

Based on the reviews of the cable, it should pass 3D without any problem. Try the advice above.
