I have an ipod touch 2G 32gb which I bought about three months ago. Yesterday I was prompted by i tunes to upgrade the software to the 2.2 release version. I downloaded the software but when I tried to install it on the ipod, it froze. I rtied resetting the ipod but all it did after bringing up the apple logo for reset was revert to a screen showing a USB cable and an arrow pointing towards the itunes logo. I rang apple yesterday to be told that many people are experiencing the same problem and the only way I can get it fixed is to go into an Apple shop. I live in Greece, and there are are no Apple shops here, so, unless anyone has a fix, I will have to go to the Apple shop in London when I'm in the UK for Christmas. Two questions:
[*]Has anyone else had this problem?
[*]Do you know of a quick fix (including reformatting the disk) that I could use, to try to recover the ipod?
Thanks for any help you can offer.
