Private Listening

Dear all, I am currently using a Technics SL-PG490 Cd Player and Technics RPH200 Headphones as my main system as its not possible to listen to music any other way in my new flat. As a result i have decided to blow all my budget on a dedicated headphone only system and move my current setup to the bedroom. My taste in music is extremely broad ie. Motzart to Metalica. Hi,

I would pop over to the head-fi forums and have a look around there for some ideas,I use some Beyer Dynamics 990,they are OK,a bit bloated in the bass,but have a search and get some ideas of phones sonic characteristics,and how comfy they are for long term listening etc.

DT990 that silly recomended is very good infact it would be over kill to use them with your Technics.....DT321 (I think!) is a better bet. Cost around £35
