Power Conditioner

Considering a power conditioner but not really sure I need one? There also seems to be a real lack of UK options. I love the look of the Belkin PureAV PF60 but can't seem to find it?

Will adding one degrade the quality of my AV system or improve it, there seems to be a divide on this topic?

A mains conditioner may improve things slightly but I would look into room acoustics first, getting that right brings greater improvements than any cabling ever could. Cabling and mains can't improve the sound of your system but they can definately hold it back.

This is what I assumed. If it only brings a zero to marginal improvement then I will skip it, because the chances are I won't be able to tell!
