Hi Junior
We have quite an extensive range of loudspeakers in the price point you're looking at, and we do numerous A/B demos of these on a weekly basis (a list of which you'll find via my Bio).
Our most popular speakers in this price point, as chosen by our customers, tends to be either the ProAc D28's, the PMC OB1i's, and the KEF Reference 203/2's, all for different reasons. Obviously choosing a loudspeaker is a personal thing, so a side by side demo on the same system is highly recommended.
The 203/2's are usually chosen for their clean presentation, and their dynamic ability in the mid/high frequency range, which seems to leave many speakers standing in this regard.
The OB1i's have a slightly warmer sound to them, but still retain treble detail, which is very delicate sounding, not forced.
The D28's are the warmest sounding of the three, and the sweetest sounding too. I think people choose these because they're just such an enjoyable listen - nothing technical, niothing precise, just extremely listenable. pretty decent bass too for a two way speaker!
Because of our range, most people do try other speakers out like the Monitor Audio PL200's and Spendor A9's, but we find most choose one of the above three (although the Spendor is a new model, so that might stir things up a little). I think because of your diverse ranges of music, one of those three will definitely suit you.
