I have my PMC FB1i front speakers soon to be joined by some DB1i rears. They are being run by Arcam AV9/P7. I am currently using my Kube sub from my old KEF 2005 package, but would like to upgrade the sub to something more in keeping with the rest of the setup.
I was planning to spend about £1000.
Currently I am being advised to go for either a REL 505 or M&K XK12, both about the right price and size. To be honest I would prefer smaller to the M&K if possible.
What do other people run with similar systems. I would stretch to the PMC sub (or £1500 on another brand) if anyone could demonstrate a significant reason for doing so.
What would you go for? It will be for movies primarily as I normally only use the front speakers for music.
