if i had the space i would .When I decided I wanted an AV setup, after much deliberation I decided to go for a totally separate system. 7.1 AV, and kept my existing stereo for music. There is no right or wrong, just what suits each individual.

Yesterday was the first time i had a long listening stereo session at first i thought it didn't sound has good has the 7000 it was like it had a cold and struggling to breath i was wrong. This Amp takes a long time to warm up and runs hotter than the 7000,but this was when it started to shine also being ex demo not sure if its seen much use, condition is perfect.
At low volume it defiantly has more authority and separation the bass is brilliant ,i think the B&W speakers mesh well.
At high volume the clarity is much better and less muddled i tried various CDS old and new recordings, various genres there is defiantly better separation and clarity.
Also im not sure how much use the B&WS have had , they are ex demo they might be still running in.
In terms of features this Amp hits every angle at a decent price .Still adjusting the Sub and various other settings.
AV wise its perfect for me.
Now i know i didn't make a big mistake this is a relief , where will the HIFI obsession end i dont know.
Happy for now 🤓
The remote is back lit perfect for movies in the dark nice little touch .
Thats a very good question thats the first thing i noticed when i set it up and realised the sub was not connected. It has a lot more authority without the sub and room filling no boom,im not sure if this the Amp or speakers or both. That's great. How does it sound without the sub?
HDMI Passthrough - definitely a handy feature and quite common with amps/receivers with HDMI connection. After 2 months this Amp had a hidden trick under that silver hood. Every source that is connected to HDMI can be used with out turning the Amp on has long has the power is on at the plug.
Yes very much, a learning curb for me this Amp.HDMI Passthrough - definitely a handy feature and quite common with amps/receivers with HDMI connection.
