Yesterday was the first time i had a long listening stereo session at first i thought it didn't sound has good has the 7000 it was like it had a cold and struggling to breath i was wrong. This Amp takes a long time to warm up and runs hotter than the 7000,but this was when it started to shine also being ex demo not sure if its seen much use, condition is perfect.

At low volume it defiantly has more authority and separation the bass is brilliant ,i think the B&W speakers mesh well.

At high volume the clarity is much better and less muddled i tried various CDS old and new recordings, various genres there is defiantly better separation and clarity.

Also im not sure how much use the B&WS have had , they are ex demo they might be still running in.
In terms of features this Amp hits every angle at a decent price .Still adjusting the Sub and various other settings.
AV wise its perfect for me.
Now i know i didn't make a big mistake this is a relief , where will the HIFI obsession end i dont know.
Happy for now 🤓

The remote is back lit perfect for movies in the dark nice little touch .

That's great. How does it sound without the sub?

The main advantage of HDMI for me is that you are able to transmit both video and sound through that single cable. The ARC spec on one of our TV's HDMI ports is required to get 4K through our Roku stick, I believe. Or was it to get Blue-Ray on that player -it's been a while? Both? (Not easily accessible to check what is connected to HDMI 1.)

The stereo setups's preamps have no kind of HDMI, and with no video anythings connected, they haven't been missed.
